Remember when this show first came out and it was about building motorcycles?

That’s actually true, the US Accord (using the name Inspire) was sold and marketed as a full-size car in Japan for several years.

I vaguely remember seeing a half-assembled motorcycle on the show once. I just recall a lot of angry hair.

Ricers need to come up with something else to call the Type R. It besmirches the legacy of the Yellow Bird.

You have a time machine that goes back to 1997? Because that’s how long the Civic Type R has been around and called the CTR. In fact, I’d bet when car enthusiasts hear CTR that more more of them think of the Civic than some tuned Porsche from the 80s that they made like a dozen of.

I actually not hating on the type R, it’s a good car underneath some “questionable” body work, and honestly Honda deserves the name, RUF ain’t using it and will never use it, nobody is out here confusing the two but you

I’m not confusing the two, the RUF CTR just happened to enter my internal car database first and thus is what comes to mind when I see those letters.
